Multilingual website for your business
A WordPress website in several languages, for example Polish, English, Ukrainian or German. Each version has its own address, menu and SEO settings, so clients find you on Google in their own language. For businesses across Poland, I work remotely.

A website in several languages, without the chaos
One WordPress website with several language versions that Google recognises separately.
What is included
- Separate language versions with their own addresses, e.g. /en/ and /uk/
- Language switcher in the menu, easy to use on a phone too
- hreflang tags so Google shows the right version
- SEO titles and descriptions for every language
- Contact form and messages in every language
- Easy editing of all versions in the WordPress dashboard
Who it is for: Businesses serving clients from abroad or foreigners living in Poland: services, clinics, tourism, shops and exporters.
Indicative price: WordPress website from PLN 2,000 net. The cost of language versions depends on the number of languages and pages; I prepare a quote after a short conversation.
Separate versions instead of an automatic translator
Plugins that translate a website “on the fly” look convenient, but Google usually does not see those translations as separate pages. A client searching for your service in English or Ukrainian simply will not find you, and the quality of automatic text varies.
That is why I build each language version as a separate set of pages with its own addresses, titles and descriptions. Google indexes them independently, and visitors land straight on the page in their language.
This website works the same way: Web Smarts has Polish, English and Russian versions.

What exactly you get
Separate URLs
Each language has its own pages that can be linked to and optimised.
hreflang and sitemap
Google knows which version is for which language and does not treat them as duplicates.
SEO in every language
Titles, descriptions and headings matched to how clients search in that language.
Language switcher
Visible and simple, also on mobile, leading to the same page in another language.
Forms and messages
Form, confirmations and buttons in the visitor’s language.
Easy editing
You edit all versions in one WordPress dashboard, not in separate websites.
Where translations come from

You can provide texts in other languages yourself or order them from a professional translator. I add them to the website, adjust headings, SEO titles and descriptions, and check that everything works in each version.
I can prepare the base copy as part of the website copywriting service. We agree on the scope and source of translations before we start, so the quote is clear.

Four steps to a multilingual website
We choose the languages
Step 1 of 4
We pick the languages, pages and which of them matter most to your clients.
We prepare the content
Step 2 of 4

I build the structure
Step 3 of 4
I build the WordPress website with language versions, a switcher and forms.
I test and launch
Step 4 of 4
I test each version on mobile and desktop and submit the sitemap to Google.
Frequently asked questions
A multilingual website has separate addresses for each language and correct hreflang tags. This is how Google recommends building a multilingual website (Google on multilingual sites), so each version can appear in search results. A multilingual website can have two, three or more languages.
How many languages can a website have?
As many as you need. Most often it is 2–3 versions, for example Polish, English and Ukrainian.
Will Google index every version?
Each version has its own addresses and hreflang tags, so Google can index it separately. I do not guarantee rankings.
Can I add a language later?
Yes. The website is prepared so that another language version can be added without rebuilding it.
Do you translate the texts?
Translations come from you or a translator. I add them to the website and adjust SEO in each language.
How much does a multilingual website cost?
A WordPress website costs from PLN 2,000 net. Additional language versions are quoted after a conversation, as they depend on the number of languages and pages.
